These DIDI-NJ programs seek to recruit men and women who are working at NJ manufacturing firms. They engage students to consider manufacturing as a career. The intent is to provide a team of young manufacturing employees with whom the students can readily identify. Mentorship and frequent communications–be it texting, phoning, Instagram, etc.–between the mentor and student are the objectives of the program.
